This historic home in the Regent Neighborhood of Madison was near unsalvageable prior to our clients purchasing and renovating it. Through the planning of the home renovation, we were brought in to evaluate the property and create a landscape design that was both clean and polished while maintaining historical details. Through the installation of two lineal pergolas, with details to match the home, as well as a large open concept paving space, the backyard is an inviting space to entertain. Natural stone seatwalls surround the dining area to provide architectural detail, auxiliary seating and a buffer between plantings. The front entry of the home includes similar wall details with structural plantings stretching across the property. Summer flowering, dependable perennials provide a fantastic support of the specimen ornamental trees throughout.
